As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.
Job Responsibility:
Drive sales of medical devices and solutions to physicians, hospitals, and healthcare systems
Optimally develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities by prospecting, developing, forecasting, and closing new business opportunities to achieve sales objectives
Build strong stakeholder relationships, including champions and advocates within hospital systems
Deliver effective sales presentations and communicate complex medical/technical information clearly
Provide product education, service, and training to healthcare providers
Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets with a history of forecasting accuracy
Collaborate with other Account Executives, managers, and support staff to deliver results
Maintain compliance with CRM and all regulatory documentation requirements
Represent the company professionally and confidently in front of physicians and decision-makers
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of sales experience, or 8+ years of sales/related experience with a high school diploma or GED
Experience in medical device sales strongly preferred
Cardiology experience a plus
Proven success achieving sales targets and growing market share in competitive environments
Demonstrated ability to sell disruptive technologies and launch new products
Strong skills in solution-based selling, negotiation, and closing complex, long-cycle deals
Excellent communication, presentation, and CRM/documentation discipline
Self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable, with willingness to travel (including some overnight)
