PagerDuty is seeking Account Executives for future sales opportunities in San Francisco. The role involves expanding opportunities within existing high-value accounts and driving new customer acquisition. The company operates a hybrid work model.
Job Responsibility:
Demonstrate the unique value of products and services to new and existing customers
Balance time between growing existing accounts and prospecting for new business
Identify new revenue opportunities within current accounts
Develop and execute strategies to win new accounts
Craft tailored outreach to key decision-makers
Develop and execute strategic plans to expand accounts
Stay aligned with customer objectives and business needs
Leverage competitive intelligence and industry trends
Establish and maintain strong, authentic relationships with clients
Negotiate positive outcomes
Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives (VP+)
Lead discussions around new sales opportunities and expansions
Ensure thorough and accurate pipeline management
Prepare for meetings and presentations
Follow up on commitments and agreements
Utilize marketing, alliances, and BDR programs to uncover new logo opportunities
Proactively qualify prospects
Develop strategies to win new business
Create plans to convert leads into customers
Map out territory and account strategies
Work with internal resources to develop an effective sales approach
Use historical data and market insights to provide forecasts
Requirements:
Experience growing existing accounts and acquiring new business
Experience as an Account Executive
Understanding of nurturing long-term relationships and winning new business
Ability to thrive in a tech-forward environment

Experience with value selling
