We are looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our dynamic team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves managing client accounts, analyzing benefits plans, and coordinating with brokers and consultants to deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare insurance sales and a commitment to staying informed about industry trends.
Job Responsibility:
Manage a portfolio of client accounts, addressing ongoing service needs and ensuring satisfaction
Collaborate with producers to gather renewal and new business information, coordinating expirations efficiently
Develop marketing materials, analyze benefit proposals, and prepare presentations to support new and renewal business efforts
Maintain comprehensive underwriting and marketing data for various carriers
Process enrollment paperwork for new and renewal business, ensuring timely follow-ups with clients and carriers
Schedule and conduct quarterly in-person meetings with brokers and clients to review progress and address concerns
Analyze benefit plan experience, industry trends, and data to provide actionable insights to brokers and consultants
Facilitate communication between clients and insurance carriers to resolve claims or administrative challenges effectively
Lead or participate in annual enrollment and benefits meetings for client employees
Stay updated on industry practices and regulations through continuous learning and participation in relevant events
Requirements:
Minimum of five years of sales experience as an Account Manager or Account Executive
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail
Proven track record of at least five years in healthcare insurance sales
Valid Producer License required
Strong expertise in business analysis, including gap analysis and document review
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
Excellent customer service skills, particularly in call center environments
Willingness to travel up to 30%, including occasional overnight trips, to support sales and client engagement
