Job Description:

Account Executive position at CVS Health for Meritain Health in the Southeast region. The role focuses on transforming health care through complex negotiations and in-depth knowledge of Meritain Health products and services to maximize revenue, retain and grow client relationships.

Job Responsibility:

  • Initiate actions which maximize revenue, retain, and grow client relationships
  • Effectively position products and rate/fee levels with an emphasis on expanding the assigned book of business
  • Provide guidance, support, and strategic leadership among the service teams
  • Meet assigned sales, retention and profitability objectives
  • Seek opportunities for profitable growth
  • Act as strategic business partner to customers and producers
  • Optimize the positioning of Aetna's products and services
  • Attain profitability and membership objectives
  • Execute cross-sell strategies and add other lines of business
  • Retain and cultivate a profitable book of business by coordinating the renewal process
  • Work collaboratively within Aetna and across business functions
  • Analyze and review reports and utilization to consult with customers
  • Implement appropriate interventions and drive mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Assist customers in understanding key drivers of benefits cost
  • Recommend solutions based on data
  • Coordinate resources to ensure successful case installation of new products and services

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years' experience in Sales & Service Account Management
  • Health Insurance employee benefits experience
  • Complex negotiations experience
  • Sales administration, support, reporting
  • Strategy development
  • Current Life, Accident & Health License
  • Travel required (25%)
  • C-suite experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
