As an Account Executive at Heidi, you’ll be one of the first on the ground driving our growth in South Africa. You’ll own the full sales cycle - from prospecting to closing - while building relationships with private hospitals, public health networks, and clinical leaders. This role suits someone with a strong understanding of healthcare (ideally with a medical or clinical background) who’s excited to blend clinical empathy with commercial drive.
Job Responsibility:
Run full-cycle sales opportunities within the South African market
Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline using a mixture of warm and cold account targeting
Leverage product usage signals to nurture existing users into sales opportunities
Use solution-based selling to understand client needs and tailor Heidi’s platform to solve specific challenges within healthcare organizations
Deliver impactful presentations and product demos, articulating the value of our AI products
Execute closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Operations and Customer Success to drive market growth
Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscapes, and evolving customer needs to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies as necessary
Requirements:
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in software sales, ideally in the healthcare industry
Clinical background (e.g. medicine, nursing, or allied health) strongly preferred
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing sales cycles with high ownership and urgency in fast growth tech
Languages: English required
Afrikaans, isiXhosa, Zulu, or Sotho fluency is a strong plus given our diverse clinician base
