Job Description

You will establish meaningful and challenging conversations with C-level and company founders that lead you to establish strong relationships and close big deals with these companies. You will be fully responsible for prospecting leads, activating your network, and creating business connections.

Job Responsibility

  • Implement a multithreaded outbound sales approach for prospecting leads, activating your networking and creating business connections
  • Own the outbound sales process from end-to-end
  • Be an expert in all aspects of the Airwallex platform, our customers, and our solutions
  • Clearly communicate the challenges in the cross-border payments industry and the value of Airwallex solutions to empower companies to go global
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and commercials contracts in conjunction with legal, finance and strategy through to execution
  • Help craft and redesign processes to ensure Airwallex can move quickly and succeed at scale
  • Be a team player and set the standard for our entire SME sales function

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 3 years of outbound sales in the Fintech or Payment space
  • Proficient in Google Suite and sales tech tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • A proven record of exceeding targets in outbound B2B sales and experience selling solutions in target verticals including e-commerce, marketplaces, and SaaS/Technology
  • Strategic thinker and able to drive 'partnership' conversations vs. 'sales' conversations - Solution Oriented
  • A FIO (Figure It Out) attitude and are willing to do whatever is necessary to achieve results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

  • B2B Payments API experience
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment, particularly in 0-1 mode (e.g., helped to launch and grow a new product or region)

  • Strategic Pipeline Ownership: Prospect new accounts, generating your own pipeline by making first contact via email and call outreach at a high volume and developing sales opportunities with non-clients
  • Value Translation & Discovery: Lead discovery conversations with customers to identify pain points, quantify business impacts with metrics, and understand frustrations with their current situation
  • Increase sales velocity using Gap Selling and MEDDPICC methodologies to ensure you consistently coach clients on how to buy, align our solutions to customer pain and future-state impact, and communicate the quantifiable value of what we offer
  • Account Penetration & Management: Identify customer champions and economic buyers with excellent discovery skills, as well as multi-thread accounts using more than one touchpoint to improve win rate
  • Secure and lead face-to-face and video meetings with prospects to address questions, oppositions, and concerns
  • Manage software trials with prospective clients to ensure adoption, use, and results
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the SDR and Marketing teams to follow up on all Sales Qualified Leads
  • Provide demos of our solutions with a focus on connecting solutions to the desired future state of the customer
  • Closing & Process Improvement: Close deals in a timely manner and develop best practices for continuously shortening the sales cycle
