The Account Executive is responsible for driving sales performance and meeting revenue objectives within an assigned territory. This role focuses on expanding market presence, building long-term customer partnerships, and operating in alignment with KARL STORZ Company Values. This indivual will cover the following specialities: Urology/Gynecology, Surgical, Head & Neck and Airway. The geogrpahy covered included the Southwest Ontario area with an emphasis on London. Will cover as far south as Windsor.
Job Responsibility:
Achieve territory growth by meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in accordance with the commission plan
Expand market share across all specialties by increasing penetration and adoption of KARL STORZ product and service solutions
Strengthen solution-based selling capabilities to establish sustainable market leadership, including service offerings
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly performance reports to Sales Management, outlining achievements, progress toward goals, key activities, and potential challenges
Collaborate with leadership, marketing teams, and customers to develop and implement innovative strategies, solutions, and offerings
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts, staying informed on industry trends and market challenges
Develop winning proposal strategies that emphasize value while protecting or improving gross margins
collaborate with management for final approvals
Partner with customer support and training teams to ensure customers receive comprehensive service and education
Foster employee engagement by coaching and mentoring team members to achieve business objectives and support professional development
Perform additional duties as assigned, consistent with business needs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales or marketing
Minimum of 5 years of direct medical device sales experience
experience in endoscopy, imaging, or medical technology is strongly preferred
Solid understanding of the medical device and healthcare industry
Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory and internationally, as required
