Valsoft is looking for an Account Executive to join our team in Canada. This is our first sales hire. You’ll work directly with the CEO and product team to close early customers, shape the sales motion, and help define how Ask-Nova scales. You’ll sell primarily into mid-market life sciences customers (pharma and adjacencies like medtech, veterinary, and specialty suppliers) initially, with the opportunity to open new verticals as the product expands.
Job Responsibility:
Run deals end-to-end: discovery → demo → close (with founding team support)
Close the next wave of mid-market and enterprise customers
Help refine ICP, pricing, and value proposition
Provide structured feedback to product and leadership
Test and validate new vertical use cases beyond life sciences
Help define the playbook for future sales hires
Requirements:
3–8+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience (mid-market or enterprise)
Experience selling into healthcare / life sciences is a strong plus
Comfortable selling a very early-stage product with evolving messaging
Strong discovery skills
able to sell value, not just features
Self-directed, curious, and comfortable with ambiguity
Excited to be an early commercial hire, not rep #25
