As an Account Executive, Small Medium Business (SMB), you will be on the front line of sales, contributing to the success of the company while developing and improving your own sales and people skills in an open and friendly environment. You will work as part of our field sales team and carry your own monthly quota.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for understanding OutSystems offer and competitive issues
Hunting for new business and logos within the SMB space
Be the main point of contact for OutSystems customers, leading the sales strategy, overcoming objections and negotiating success
Push upgrades with growth plans
Map prospective accounts around organizational structure, people and existing technology
Engage executives in targeted prospect accounts
Orchestrate discussions with senior execs around their business needs
Demonstrate verbally, in writing and through live product demos, how prospect customers can capture value and envision their future with OutSystems
Provide technical product overview and insights pertinent to customer need and usage scenarios
Meet and exceed targets: effectively manage opportunities and pipeline through the sales cycle
Leverage social, digital, video, chat, phone and demonstration environments to effectively reach, sell to and manage Outsystems prospect customers
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of quota carrying experience selling into SMB space of Australia
Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral, written and verbal communications skills
Ability to successfully communicate with contacts via the phone, email, video and presentations
Technical ability to provide technical product overview and insights pertinent to customer need and usage scenarios
Desire to work in a competitive environment where one’s growth potential is driven by one’s abilities and attitude
Ability to identify the key aspects of a potential opportunity, nurture the opportunity to close, and manage the customer relationship through success
General knowledge of the IT industry, with the capacity to learn and retain knowledge about individual products and business solutions quickly and accurately
Achievement and success-driven personality, motivated by performance rewards for exceeding annual sales goals
Solid time management skills and ability to work independently or under supervision with a high level of integrity
Understanding of and passion for the technology industry - background of prospecting to IT decision makers required
