As an Account Executive you focus on prospecting for new deals and customers in the mid-market, responsible for deal progression and closing. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and nurturing new business opportunities within the SaaS industry. Your focus will be on promoting our software products and services, understanding the unique needs of our prospects, and delivering tailored solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Sales Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities and markets, developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies
Conduct thorough research, capture prospect roadmaps during discovery calls
Initiate and maintain relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders
Act as a customer advocate within the company, respond and route all queries/questions within assigned customer accounts
Build and execute on territory plans to drive seamless execution of new logo pursuits
Convert leads into opportunities, and subsequently into customers
Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Utilize strong product knowledge and technical acumen to conduct effective, high-level demos
Draw on value messaging to conduct product demonstrations and presentations
Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline
Keep accurate records of interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in Salesforce
Negotiation and Closing: Overcome objections, negotiate terms and pricing, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
Close deals by understanding customer needs and demonstrating how our products or services meet those needs
Collaboration: Cultivate and leverage relationships with Channel Partners to source and close additional opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other departments to ensure a smooth/seamless transition of new customers
Market and Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, market/product dynamics and emerging technologies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Business or a related field is preferred
Proven track record in mid-market/volume sales ideally in a SaaS organization (2-5yrs)
Strong understanding of technical software solutions and their applications
Experience in Microsoft and/or Salesforce environment preferred
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Ability to exceed targets
