Job Responsibility
Drive new business in Spain and other emerging markets for Personio
Bring in net new, recurring revenue from small and mid-market customers in Spain and other emerging markets across Europe
Own the entire sales process from prospecting to close, building pipeline through own outbound activities, network, and collaboration with Marketing
Manage book of business strategically, identifying high-potential accounts and creating targeted account plans to maximize revenue in the region
Guide prospects through their evaluation process, influence decision criteria, and build compelling business cases that drive action across multi-stakeholder buying centers
Partner with Solution Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and other teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and close deals efficiently
Act as a market expert for Spain and emerging European markets, sharing insights and feedback to help shape Personio's go-to-market strategy in these regions
Play a crucial role in uplevelling yourself and your AE colleagues, contributing to the growth and excellence of the entire sales organization
Requirements
Proven track record of 2+ years in technology sales, ideally in a SaaS or B2B environment, with a focus on new business acquisition
Fluent in Spanish and English (C2 level or native in both)
Thrive in full-cycle sales, owning the entire sales process from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and close, without relying on BDR support
Excel at consultative selling, guiding prospects through their evaluation process, influencing decision criteria, and navigating multi-stakeholder buying centers in small and mid-market companies
Strategic territory planner, able to build and execute account plans, prioritize high-value opportunities, and consistently hit or exceed revenue targets
Bring high energy and a hunter mentality, proactively seeking new opportunities, leveraging network, and demonstrating resilience in a fast-paced sales environment
Have a growth mindset, with experience in top-tier sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC) and a strong intrinsic motivation to continuously improve and overachieve goals
Nice to have
Italian language skills being a strong plus for engaging with customers across emerging European markets
