Account Executive, SMB | North America. Location: North America; Canada; USA. Employment Type: Full time. Location Type: Remote. Department: S&M; Sales. Whether you are introducing a small business (1-20 employees) to Deel for the first time or strategically expanding our footprint within an existing partnership, you will own the full sales cycle.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive Full-Cycle Sales: Own the entire process from outbound prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and closing, maintaining a healthy and accurate pipeline
  • Uncover & Expand: Identify and generate revenue through both new logo acquisition and upselling/cross-selling Deel’s suite of HR and payroll solutions to existing clients
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Act as a consultant for founders and executives, understanding their internal processes to recommend tailored solutions that drive change and maximize lifetime value
  • Own Your Book: Proactively manage a book of accounts, leading business reviews and executing plans to increase renewal rates and revenue potential
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Sales Development, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless experience from the first conversation to long-term partnership
  • Represent Deel: Act as a brand ambassador at industry events (virtual or in-person) and maintain meticulous CRM data to support forecasting and reporting

Requirements

  • Proven experience in SDR/BDR and AE roles, with a track record of generating your own pipeline through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales closing role (SaaS/Tech preferred), ideally with success in fast-paced, transactional cycles of 30 days or less
  • Success in multi-product or solution-based sales
  • experience with payroll or HR products is a significant plus
  • You thrive in high-performance, remote environments and possess an entrepreneurial mindset to deliver results with minimal direction
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to break down complex global compliance issues into simple, actionable terms for VP-level champions
  • You are quick with numbers, highly organized, and obsessed with delivering world-class service while managing multiple deals and follow-ups
