As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.
Job Responsibility:
Meet, if not exceed sales quotas.
Manage a territory consisting of 100-125 verified targets.
Prospect for new business 15-20% of time.
Develop and implement a territory business plan and sales strategy.
Communicate Baxter’s competitive differentiation to improve sales and convert competitive accounts.
Complete company reports, plans and projects in accordance with company standards and expected deadlines.
Understand and comply with company and regulatory/compliance policies and procedures.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
B.S./B.A. or 2+ years proven experience as a top-level sales performer in medical devices, pharma, DME, medical equipment or as a healthcare leader in a clinical environment.
Clinical experience in a Respiratory environment (RRT) preferred.
Significant experience in negotiating and closing new business and/or budgeting.
Demonstrated strategic selling skills (strategy development and execution).
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
Valid driver's license required.
