As an Account Executive – Outbound / Cold Sales, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities for our in-house product BotPenguin through proactive outreach. This role focuses on identifying, connecting with, and engaging potential customers via cold emails, calls, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels. You will play a critical role in expanding BotPenguin’s global customer base by generating and converting high-quality outbound leads.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and prospect potential customers through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels
Build and manage a healthy outbound sales pipeline
Research target accounts to understand their business needs and pain points
Initiate conversations, qualify prospects, and assess product fit
Schedule and conduct product demos for interested prospects
Handle objections and follow up consistently to move deals forward
Negotiate pricing and close deals aligned with company guidelines
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM
Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams for smooth onboarding
Take ownership of revenue targets assigned for outbound sales
Assist with additional organizational responsibilities as deemed fit, including training junior sales resources, and supporting HR and operations teams with sales or product-related inputs when required
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
2–3 years of hands-on experience in outbound or cold outreach sales, preferably in SaaS or IT products
Proven experience in cold calling, cold emailing, and LinkedIn outreach
Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills
Ability to research prospects and identify decision-makers
Experience working with CRM tools for lead tracking and pipeline management
Strong negotiation and closing abilities
Target-driven mindset with a hunger to exceed sales goals
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
