Job Description

At Shakers, we're on the lookout for an Account Executive to take our Mid Market Sales team to the next level. This role offers the opportunity to help companies between 100 and 1000 employees scale their business by reducing costs and boosting productivity through access to the best Tech Freelancers nationwide, with the chance to shape the next-generation way of working.

Job Responsibility

  • Working on your customer portfolio, evangelizing the Shakers model and increasing conversion and repeat rates
  • Being able to understand the pains and problems of companies and presenting the value proposition accordingly, generating confidence and helping them understand the value of working with top freelancers and Shakers
  • Executing Account-Based actions to generate successful projects and the responsibility of building and maintaining a stable relationship with top clients to identify new opportunities
  • Reporting, metrics, and analytics: Analytical and retrospective capability. Reporting your activities on a weekly basis and your key objectives achieved
  • Drawing insights and conclusions at the end of each week. Prepare and guarantee weekly and monthly sales forecast. Including account plans for your clients and strategic prospection

Requirements

  • 2-7 years of work experience, in technology consulting, in sales in the tech sector of high AOV products or in startups/scaleups
  • Strong "hunting" and “farming” ability to develop a customer portfolio
  • Ambitious and eager to grow at full speed in the world of sales
  • Familiarity with technical sector jargon
  • Knowledge and interest in the startup ecosystem
  • Great communication skills to build relationships with technical profiles and C-level executives
  • Strong conviction and results-oriented
  • Data driven profile
  • Proactivity & ownership
  • Strong persuasion skills
  • Creativity, every client is a new approach and a challenge for you

Nice to have

  • A degree in engineering or a technical background as a plus
  • Own portfolio of contacts on the C-level is highly appreciated

  • Drive new business sales within assigned segment (Upper Mid Market) and book of accounts
  • continually open new conversations alongside your business development representative in new accounts
  • be a trusted expert for the customer by building in-depth relationships and understanding the business goals and objectives
  • speak to Checkr offerings as they relate to the customer’s needs, differentiate from the competition, and provide value
  • collaborate with cross-functional partners (Product, Sales, Support and Executives) to complete client goals and be the voice of the client to provide visibility and/or escalations
  • develop champions across your account base to help build consensus
  • exhibit business acumen and critical thinking, with the ability to engage with an account
  • communicate effectively with different stakeholders within the client organization and understand the entire buying committee
  • negotiate and close annual contract values ranging between $50K - $300K with the larger Checkr strategy in mind and provide post-contract support to ensure product delivery (revenue) and satisfaction
