As an Account Executive - Lender Sales, you’ll drive adoption of HomeLight’s Buy Before You Sell (BBYS) program among Loan Officers (LOs). Your mission is to educate, influence, and convert LOs into consistent BBYS advocates — making it a core part of their lending strategy. This is a high-activity, quota-carrying role focused on relationship building, pipeline management, and strategic growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and grow a high-volume portfolio of loan officers to drive applications and contracts to meet revenue goals
  • Execute disciplined daily activity: 30+ outbound calls per day to 30 unique assigned LOs, 4+ meetings per day (phone, Zoom, etc.)
  • Prioritize warm relationships first (past partners, event attendees), then expand into cold outreach
  • Conduct engaging product demos and webinars to drive activation and repeat usage
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with top LOs to grow production and help them achieve Elite Lender tier status
  • Build long-term partnerships and identify opportunities to formalize company-level relationships
  • Manage campaigns and outreach through HubSpot and structured sales cadences
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with enterprise sales, account managers, marketing, and operations to elevate relationships and conversion

Requirements

  • 2+ years of mortgage sales experience (Loan Officer or Loan Officer Assistant preferred) or strong outside sales background
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume pipeline and hit activity-based metrics
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
  • Strong communication skills with a consultative, education-first selling style
  • High ownership, competitiveness, and discipline in daily execution

What we offer

  • Medical (Aetna or Kaiser), Dental & Vision (Guardian)
  • Long-Term Disability & Short-Term Disability
  • Hospital Indemnity Insurance, Accident Plan, and Employee Critical Illness (Guardian)
  • 401k (Accrue), Life Insurance (Guardian) & Pet Insurance (Nationwide)
  • Commuter benefits are offered in certain locations
  • PTO, including Volunteer Days to give back to your community
  • Annual Anniversary Perks, including one month paid sabbaticals!
  • HomeLight Services to help you with buying and selling your home
