Porter Novelli seeks an Account Executive (AE) to support communications programs for leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. You will play a hands-on role in helping to execute thoughtful, high-impact campaigns. You’ll work closely with senior team members and integrated partners to keep projects on track, contribute to content development, and help bring client initiatives to life with precision and enthusiasm. Job Responsibility:
Support the development and execution of public relations plans
Help translate scientific and regulatory milestones
Draft and polish high-quality communications materials
Support media outreach and monitoring
Collaborate with integrated teams
Track trends and news developments
Keep projects moving smoothly
Pitch in where needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or a related field
1-3 years of professional experience in public relations, communications, or marketing
agency experience and exposure to large, integrated programs preferred
Health communications experience preferred
familiarity with pharmaceutical, biotech, or health communications is a plus
Familiarity with Veeva and preparing documents for MLR reviews is a strong advantage
Strong writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling disease state awareness materials, social media copy, media materials and other client assets
Understand digital and social media strategies and their role in communications campaigns
Ability to manage projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
A team-oriented, proactive mindset, with a willingness to contribute beyond defined responsibilities
Nice to have:
Experience or interest in oncology is a plus
Health communications experience preferred
familiarity with pharmaceutical, biotech, or health communications is a plus
Familiarity with Veeva and preparing documents for MLR reviews is a strong advantage
