Job Description

The Account Executive is responsible for driving sales performance and meeting revenue objectives within an assigned territory. This role focuses on expanding market presence, building long-term customer partnerships, and operating in alignment with KARL STORZ Company Values. This indivual will cover the following specialities: Urology/Gynecology, Surgical, Head & Neck and Airway. The geogrpahy covered included the Southwest Ontario area with an emphasis on London. Will cover as far south as Windsor.

Job Responsibility

  • Achieve territory growth by meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in accordance with the commission plan
  • Expand market share across all specialties by increasing penetration and adoption of KARL STORZ product and service solutions
  • Strengthen solution-based selling capabilities to establish sustainable market leadership, including service offerings
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly performance reports to Sales Management, outlining achievements, progress toward goals, key activities, and potential challenges
  • Collaborate with leadership, marketing teams, and customers to develop and implement innovative strategies, solutions, and offerings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts, staying informed on industry trends and market challenges
  • Develop winning proposal strategies that emphasize value while protecting or improving gross margins
  • collaborate with management for final approvals
  • Partner with customer support and training teams to ensure customers receive comprehensive service and education
  • Foster employee engagement by coaching and mentoring team members to achieve business objectives and support professional development
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, consistent with business needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales or marketing
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct medical device sales experience
  • experience in endoscopy, imaging, or medical technology is strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of the medical device and healthcare industry
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory and internationally, as required
