Job Description

We're hiring our first sales person to help build our founding team in Singapore. You'll develop our sales strategy for Asia, focusing on large business customers in Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. You will represent Notion in the region, working to build strong connections with government and industry partners. You will be instrumental in helping build pipeline, generate revenue, and expand our most strategic customers. You will play an important role in defining/iterating on our sales motions, providing customer feedback to help shape our roadmap, and generating revenue to grow our sales business.

Job Responsibility

  • Prospect and develop new potential accounts by educating contacts about how they can increase their team's collaboration, transparency, and productivity with Notion
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and pre-qualification to negotiation, closing, and renewing deals for strategic accounts across the region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Hold face-to-face and Zoom meetings with prospective customers to understand their business challenges and goals
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Build and nurture key Government and industry body relationships
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and pipeline management using CRM tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to deliver exceptional value to clients

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience, preferably at a fast-growing software company
  • Extensive experience in SaaS sales within the South East and North Asia markets
  • A builder mentality who thrives in collaborative environments
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Proven ability to sell into C-Level and work with stakeholders across various lines of business
  • Experience in complex solution sales and consistently closing large figure deals
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • A deep understanding of our customers business objectives and challenges
  • Self-motivated and able to manage tasks and projects independently
  • Ability to operate within the gray and find creative or out-of-the-box solutions when faced with ambiguity
  • You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results
