The Account Executive – Ecommerce is responsible for driving new business by selling financial products to e-commerce, direct-to-consumer, marketplace, and software-as-a-service companies with significant digital advertising spend. This role owns the full sales cycle and is ideal for a consultative seller who excels at outbound prospecting, discovery, and closing complex deals in a fast-moving environment.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and engage qualified prospects across e-commerce, DTC, marketplace, and SaaS organizations
Own the full sales cycle including outbound prospecting, discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and close
Build pipeline through consistent outbound activity and targeted account engagement
Conduct in-depth discovery to understand customer needs and business drivers
Develop tailored proposals, business cases, and return-on-investment narratives
Navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes with finance, growth, and operations leaders
Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in HubSpot CRM
Collaborate with sales leadership to refine messaging and go-to-market strategy
Requirements:
3–5+ years of full-cycle, quota-carrying Account Executive experience
Proven success exceeding quota in outbound-driven sales environments
Experience selling into mid-market or enterprise e-commerce or SaaS businesses
Comfort selling to founders, executives, and senior decision-makers
Strong prospecting, discovery, negotiation, and closing skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Nice to have:
Experience selling fintech, payments, corporate cards, or spend management solutions
Familiarity with HubSpot CRM and modern sales tools
Startup or high-growth company experience
