The Account Executive focuses on building strong client relationships while proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You’ll be building tailored insurance solutions for businesses of all sizes.
Job Responsibility:
Recognize and actively pursue new business opportunities
Conduct market research on prospects
Remain current on business issues pertaining to prospects
Network
Follow up on leads
Generate new business revenue by selling insurance coverage to clients
Manage pipeline of candidates through the use of CORE system
Maintain existing book of business
Provide highest standard of client service
Be flexible to the needs of each client
Be up-to-date on all current coverage available
Be proactive in foreseeing and meeting the needs of each client
Attend client meetings in Coastal trading area
Attend and actively participate in industry and company events/meetings
Continue professional development in order to enhance skills and abilities
Other duties and responsibilities as required
Requirements:
5+ years of Commercial Insurance experience
Proven experience in sales process and account management
