Responsible for the sale of Comcast Commercial Internet, Video and Voice based services to mid-size and large businesses. Works as part of a team to drive sales using an array of prospecting activities and cultivation of relationships with institutions in designated territories. Designs and delivers live sales presentations to prospective clients, develops relationships with individual businesses and the community and positions the Comcast brand as key components of the sales strategy, in keeping with Comcast's touchstones.
Job Responsibility:
Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations
Sell Comcast Commercial Internet, Video and Voice services to mid-size and large businesses
Develop sales territory and cultivate local partnerships
Generate new leads through prospecting activities including cold calling and canvassing
Retain customer base and ensure superior customer experience
Maintain and build customer relationships
Maintain accurate sales records and prepare reports
Attend out-of-office meetings with customers
Drive sales using an array of prospecting activities
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (preferred, but may consider combination of coursework and experience)
5-7 Years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of Network Design, MAN technologies & designs including DSx, OC-x, WDM, Ethernet, Internet Technologies, Functionality & Services
Knowledge of Voice Network Technologies (including VoIP)
Knowledge of Data Networking Technologies, Functionality & Services (LAN, MAN, WAN, VPN)
Knowledge of Networking Protocols (with an emphasis on Layers 1,2, & 3)
Knowledge of Customer Premise Equipment (voice & data)
Knowledge of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery concepts
Knowledge of E-rate Contracting Processes and Procedures
