Job Description

Acting as a trusted recruitment partner, Lawes Recruitment is working alongside a growing insurance business to recruit a talented Account Executive for its Private Client division. You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth, mid-market, and emerging wealth clients, delivering tailored personal insurance solutions across home, motor, travel, and lifestyle risks. This is a client-facing role focused on retention, growth, and service excellence in a high-performing, forward-thinking environment with strong private equity backing.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and retain a portfolio of Private Client and HNW accounts, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Identify new business opportunities within the portfolio and through referrals and market engagement
  • Oversee renewals and policy adjustments to ensure clients’ coverage stays aligned with their evolving needs
  • Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive, bespoke terms on behalf of clients
  • Maintain full FCA compliance and uphold all internal risk and audit procedures
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience
  • Keep informed on market developments to advise clients effectively and share knowledge internally

Requirements

  • Proven experience within Private Client, Mid-Market, or Emerging Wealth insurance sectors
  • Strong working knowledge of personal lines products relevant to HNW clients
  • Track record of managing client portfolios and delivering exceptional service
  • Experience with insurance systems and back-office platforms
  • Cert CII qualification or progression towards it is desirable
