Job Description

Our client is seeking a personable and proactive Account Executive to manage a portfolio of private clients, specialising in personal lines insurance such as home, motor, and travel. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring excellent client service, supporting renewals, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of private clients, delivering tailored insurance advice across home, motor, and travel products
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships through regular contact and policy reviews to ensure cover remains appropriate
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and warm leads
  • Support the renewal process by negotiating favourable terms with insurers and ensuring timely policy updates
  • Maintain accurate and compliant client records, in line with FCA and Consumer Duty regulations
  • Clearly communicate policy details and terms, ensuring clients fully understand their cover and obligations
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Stay informed of market developments, product changes, and regulatory updates, contributing to continuous improvement within the team

Requirements

  • Experience in a client-facing role within personal lines insurance
  • Understanding of home, motor, and travel insurance products
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Acturis or similar
  • Working knowledge of FCA and Consumer Duty regulations
  • Working towards Cert CII or open to pursuing professional qualifications
  • Proven experience in renewals, client servicing, and business development
