Job Description:

Provides total account management support for assigned property accounts. Executes the overall account strategy for assigned accounts to generate and maximize business for the property. Partners with Sales and Marketing leadership to develop a comprehensive strategic plan to grow market share from assigned accounts. Focuses on growing market share from transient and group revenue.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and implement overall account strategy for assigned accounts
Retain, expand and grow account revenue of existing accounts
Penetrate assigned accounts for group and transient business
Identify and solicit new accounts
Develop and implement strategic sales plans
Build and strengthen relationships with customers
Understand market dynamics and competitors
Achieve account revenue and sales goals
Execute sales strategy to achieve property goals
Maintain current business accounts
Collaborate with third parties for travel planning
Provide exceptional customer service
Conduct site inspections for hotels

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
2 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
Experience in strategic account management
Ability to develop and implement sales strategies
Understanding of market dynamics and competitors
Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
