The Account Director is the senior client partner responsible for driving commercial growth and deepening strategic relationships. This role is deeply client-facing, with a strong emphasis on client retention, relationship stability, and ensuring Digital Voices remains an indispensable global partner year after year. Alongside retention, the Account Director drives commercial growth by identifying opportunities, shaping new workstreams, and guiding clients toward solutions that deliver measurable business impact. Acting as both strategic advisor and commercial leader, the Account Director ensures Digital Voices consistently meets, and exceeds, client expectations across global markets. The Account Director champions the client’s business within the Digital Voices and Digital Voices value within the client organisation. They provide strategic direction, unlock opportunities across markets, and lead teams to deliver consistently excellent campaign execution through the matrix.
Job Responsibility:
Builds durable, multi-year client relationships grounded in trust, reliability, and strategic guidance
Anticipates risks to relationship health and intervenes early to maintain client confidence
Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence and situational awareness in high-stakes conversations as a proactive business partner
Identifies long term opportunities that deepen the client partnership over time
Leads proposals, renewals, upsell initiatives, and cross market expansions
Positions Digital Voice’s value clearly and persuasively in all client engagements
Aligns campaigns and delivery strategies directly to client business goals
Ensures senior clients feel strategically supported and understood
Steers cross-functional teams around shared goals that reinforce account stability and client satisfaction
Oversees account profitability, pricing strategies, and commercial planning in collaboration with senior leadership
Ensures pricing and scopes support long term account health
Guides teams to deliver consistently strong work that reinforces client trust and retention
Requirements:
6/7+ years’ experience in an agency environment leading major client relationships with a strong record of retention and long-term account stewardship
Experience creating long-term strategic account plans focused on stability, loyalty, and expansion
Experience shaping strategic recommendations and articulating business value to senior clients
Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence C-suite and senior marketing stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership across multi-market or global accounts
Confidence identifying organic growth opportunities and converting them into revenue
Comfortable in a hybrid role balancing strategic leadership, commercial development, and delivery oversight
Experience managing large cross-functional teams and guiding account strategy across regions
