Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Account Director to join our talented account management team. This person should display impeccable critical thinking, project management and client management skills. The Account Director should be able to strike a successful balance identifying opportunities for strategic growth and ensuring the total success of assigned client projects. We ultimately envision this person to be an overall trusted partner and advisor to clients, internal teams and K&P’s leadership team.

Job Responsibility

  • Be driven, energetic, organized and full of great ideas
  • Partner directly with the COO to uphold the overall direction and vision for the Account Management team
  • Help guide account management team members to think proactively and strategically across K&P’s portfolio of clients
  • In collaboration with the Creative Lead, serving as the primary contact and face of K&P for assigned clients
  • Management of projects delivering branding, content, digital and eCommerce development
  • Create project plans and timelines, and partner with the tech team to develop detailed sprint plans for website builds and deployments
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and ensuring they understand the company’s processes, standards and approach to project delivery
  • Communicate strategic recommendations to clients, team members and senior management on a regular basis
  • Oversee the delivery of assigned client engagements and ensure clients are properly informed and satisfied with K&P’s approach to the execution of work
  • Lead external client meetings and facilitate internal project status meetings
  • Track project budgets, lead resourcing and support the business development team in drafting project estimates, statements of work and project addendums

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7-10 years working in an agency environment and overseeing project teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Adept with pivoting between strategic, big-picture thinking and needing to be tactical and executional
  • Proven history working with hospitality, lifestyle and real estate brands
  • Experience working cross-functional creative teams
  • Experience working on technology projects and with development teams
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, Keynote, Harvest and Asana
  • Superior organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Able to balance expectations both with internal and external stakeholders
  • Possess a ‘get it done’ mentality
  • You are a passionate, self-motivated team player
