Provides total account management support for assigned property accounts. Partners with Sales and Marketing leadership and the property Leadership team to develop a comprehensive strategic plan to grow market share from assigned accounts. Focuses on growing market share from transient and group revenue, and supports day-to-day supervision of Account Sales associates.
Job Responsibility:
Develops and implements the overall account strategy for assigned accounts
Retains, expands and grows account revenue of existing accounts
Identifies and aggressively solicits new accounts
Develops and implements strategic sales plans
Builds and strengthens accounts with existing and new customers
Identifies emerging business opportunities and risks
Increases local penetration of high potential accounts
Executes designated sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
Leverages methodologies, technical, and business knowledge
Resolves guest issues that arise in the sales process
Delivers exemplary customer service
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
2 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area
2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
