The Account Director, Luxury Sales role focuses on managing a portfolio of Indian accounts with emphasis on luxury consortia, such as Virtuoso, American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, and STARS/Luminous. Responsibilities include developing account management and market strategies, fostering relations with key stakeholders, identifying new sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and develop a portfolio of India accounts focusing on luxury consortia
develop source market and account management strategies
build long-term relationships with luxury tour operators, wholesalers, and retail travel agencies
proactively solicit and saturate destination sales accounts
identify and qualify new business opportunities
provide market advantage through competitor analysis
drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
establish relationships with GSO and key local stakeholders
maximize revenue through upselling and account pricing strategies
ensure alignment with area demand generation strategies
oversee hotels’ performance and build action plans
act as a single point of contact for key accounts
communicate updates about hotels to stakeholders
conduct site inspections and create contracts
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
university degree preferred
8–10 years progressive work experience in the hotel industry with focus on Sales
