We are looking for a high-impact Account Director to lead and expand our most critical relationships within the Financial Services sector. You are responsible for the long-term vision and commercial health of a concentrated book of Enterprise accounts. In this role, you won't just manage accounts; you will be the lead architect for AlphaSense's growth within the world's most sophisticated investment banks, asset managers, and hedge funds.
Job Responsibility:
Drive Gross Revenue Retention (GRR) and Net Revenue Retention (NRR) by accurately forecasting expansion, identifying churn risks, and delivering on aggressive growth targets
Partner with global sales team and customer success managers to execute strategic client growth plan
Own end-to-end renewal process, acting as primary lead on all commercial negotiations
Transition AlphaSense from vendor to strategic business partner by cultivating network of champions and executive sponsors
Serve as advocate for AlphaSense to client and client advocate within AlphaSense
Lead QBRs and executive briefings - often traveling to financial hubs
Drive new user onboarding and execute insight-driven outreach to maintain high engagement and adoption
Requirements:
Effectively map and navigate complex power structures within global organizations
Proven track record of converting users into champions and aligning with C-Suite mandates
Master of internal navigation, strategically deploying internal resources and SMEs
Excel in relationship management and business acumen
Firm commitment to processes and tactics that drive success
Natural intellectual curiosity with ability to learn and adapt quickly
Ability to pivot between deep-dive technical discussions and high-level strategic consultations
Understand the 'Land and Expand' SaaS lifecycle
Set example for grit, work ethic, initiative, enthusiasm and commitment
Possess an owner's mindset
Exceptional oral, written and presentation skills
Experience with Financial Services clients
At least 3 years of SaaS experience owning renewals and retention for a book of business
