Job Description:

We’re looking for a commercially driven Account Development Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic growth accounts while driving major national tender opportunities and new business acquisition. This is a national, field-based role focused on building senior stakeholder relationships, identifying growth opportunities and positioning Safetykleen as the supplier of choice within the waste and environmental services sector. You’ll play a key role in expanding our Waste division during an exciting period of growth and investment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of key national and regional accounts
  • Leading major tenders, RFQs, RFPs and procurement opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with senior decision-makers
  • Identifying upsell, cross-sell and new business opportunities
  • Developing strategic account growth plans
  • Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline
  • Using waste data and insights to drive customer value
  • Managing pricing negotiations and contract renewals
  • Working closely with operational and commercial teams to deliver solutions
  • Positioning Safetykleen as a trusted environmental partner

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in B2B account management or sales
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing tenders or procurement processes
  • A proactive, strategic and growth-focused mindset
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders
  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
