We’re looking for a commercially driven Account Development Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic growth accounts while driving major national tender opportunities and new business acquisition. This is a national, field-based role focused on building senior stakeholder relationships, identifying growth opportunities and positioning Safetykleen as the supplier of choice within the waste and environmental services sector. You’ll play a key role in expanding our Waste division during an exciting period of growth and investment.
Job Responsibility:
Managing and growing a portfolio of key national and regional accounts
Leading major tenders, RFQs, RFPs and procurement opportunities
Building strong relationships with senior decision-makers
Identifying upsell, cross-sell and new business opportunities
Developing strategic account growth plans
Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline
Using waste data and insights to drive customer value
Managing pricing negotiations and contract renewals
Working closely with operational and commercial teams to deliver solutions
Positioning Safetykleen as a trusted environmental partner
Requirements:
A proven track record in B2B account management or sales
Strong commercial and negotiation skills
Experience managing tenders or procurement processes
A proactive, strategic and growth-focused mindset
Confidence working with senior stakeholders
Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
What we offer:
£40,000 - £45,000 basic plus uncapped commission OTE £55k+
