Job Responsibility:
Provides service support to accounting department and customer base
Provides customer service and phone support (inbound and outbound)
Interact closely with customer and fulfill needs (provide weekly EFT balance, reports as requested, etc)
Post cash receipts and other accounts receivable related transactions
Backup for collection calls and collection letters for delinquent accounts
Prepare Demand Letters and PAP Packages (Bad Debt Packages) for delinquent accounts
Prepare weekly invoicing to verify with NY Lottery customer
Prepare and enter transactions in banking software system
Collect and prepare weekly reports for review and audit
Strict adherence to department and client deadlines
All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
2-4 year Accounting Degree
1-2 years experience
Must be extremely proficient in P.C. based applications, particularly in Microsoft excel, word, outlook and power point.
