Our client in the property management industry is offering an Account Coordinator position perfect for individuals eager to support operational excellence and deliver outstanding customer service to property owners, tenants, and vendors. The role involves a range of responsibilities including serving as a liaison, managing financial transactions and property accounts, assisting with tenant onboarding, and coordinating rent collections. You’ll also support property managers, work with maintenance teams, and ensure professionalism in all interactions.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a primary liaison between property managers, clients, and vendors to ensure timely resolution of issues related to property accounts
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, property budgets, and account details in compliance with company standards and regulations
Assist with tenant onboarding, including lease documentation, payment processing, and responding to account inquiries
Coordinate and follow up on rent collections, invoices, and payments to ensure accounts are current
Respond to client and tenant questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy, escalating complex matters to senior team members when necessary
Support property managers by preparing reports, spreadsheets, and account summaries for regular updates and meetings
Work with maintenance teams and vendors to track service requests, ensuring timely completion and accurate billing.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative, account management, or customer service role (experience in property management is highly desirable)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management software such as Yardi, AppFolio, or Buildium is a plus
Collaborative team player with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
High school diploma or equivalent required
an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
