Account coordinators are an important part of the MP&F team and work on a variety of client teams to execute campaigns and projects in the communications field. Job Responsibility:
Manages time effectively, consistently meets deadlines and communicates workload capacities with team leaders
Correctly builds media lists and drafts media advisories and news releases
Correctly builds and completes social media content calendars
Monitors, flags and responds to social media and email inbox inquiries
Effectively oversees individual and team projects from start to finish
Effectively delegates and oversees projects with interns
Regularly provides updates in internal team meetings and client meetings
Has an understanding of advertising, marketing and data analytics projects related to his/her client work
Collaborates with team members to develop analytics dashboard reports
Contributes regularly to monthly reporting efforts
Shows proper email and meeting etiquette (punctuality, dress, engagement)
Comfortable corresponding and speaking with clients over the phone
Takes initiative to learn and research client industries
Recognizes the overall strategy to his/her clients’ work, needs of his/her teams and team members, and takes the initiative to contribute
Shows interest in projects outside of assigned work and voices availability
Contributes to business development opportunities through research, brainstorms and more
Seeks networking and professional development opportunities outside of the office
Properly tracks his/her time daily and reviews and approves monthly timekeeper reports efficiently
Requirements:
Research (for existing clients, potential new clients, industry trends, etc.)
Writing and editing (social media copy, press releases, media pitches, blog copy, newsletters, Op-Eds, ad copy)
Media relations (identifying reporters and outlets, writing/sending/following up on media pitches, developing media lists, coordinating media attendance at events)
