Job Description:

Alera Group is looking for an Account Assistant. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you! Job Responsibility:

  • Process service-related requests such as certificates, endorsements, cancellations, ID cards, policy binders
  • Support pre-renewal activities including ordering loss runs and gathering required documentation
  • Assist the Account Manager with policy checking, premium audits, premium finance arrangements, invoicing, check requests
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Sagitta and ImageRight
  • Build strong relationships with carrier representatives, clients, and internal teams
  • Complete required training
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience with agency management systems (preferably AMS Sagitta)
  • Demonstrated work ethic including timely follow-up, attention to detail, dependability
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Resident State Agent License (or ability to obtain within two exam attempts)
  • College degree preferred
  • 6+ months of industry experience preferred
