Job Description:

Reporting to the Accommodation Manager, the Accommodation Supervisor will support the Accommodation Manager and team in meeting the standards of the Ashling Hotel

Job Responsibility:

  • To be pleasant and courteous at all times to guests, management and colleagues
  • To support and lead the team in carrying out duties
  • Ensure H&S compliance
  • Monitor and oversee both public areas and bedrooms
  • Liaise directly with the Maintenance team on any duties that may arise

Requirements:

  • Flexibility with working hours is essential
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Fluent English and excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience within the role desired

  • Ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptionally clean, safe, and well-maintained holiday homes for our guests
  • Conducting regular inspections and checks of holiday homes to ensure cleanliness standards are being met, taking action to fix any non-compliance issues immediately
  • Cleaning holiday homes, lodges and glamping pods (where applicable) to our high brand standards
  • Ensuring your team have the right tools and stocks to do their job efficiently and effectively
  • Putting our guests first, you and your team will build positive relationships to resolve guest queries with minimal disruption to their stay with us
  • Creating a culture within your team to consistently deliver high standards and respond positively to guest feedback
  • Assist with the onboarding and training of new team members, providing ongoing development and support through on-the-job coaching
  • Provide your team with feedback and support based on performance data
  • Ensuring you and your team are compliant with health and safety regulations, COSHH and all other company policies and procedures
  • Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, linen and guest amenities, reporting low levels to the Accommodation Manager or Assistant Accommodation Manager
