Job Description

Shift Manager role in the Accommodation department at the Bognor Regis resort, responsible for operational plans, team management, and guest experience. This is an operational guest facing role covering a 5-day working week over 7 days with shifts between 8am and midnight.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure daily operational plans are fulfilled by ensuring relevant tasks and objectives are carried out by the team
  • Ensure team are in the right place at the right time to manage fluctuating guest demand whilst keeping operational standards and guest experience high
  • Support and coach the team to deliver a great experience and drive key targets such as add on sales or promotions
  • Spend majority of time within the venue and with guests

Requirements

  • Experience as a leader from within a warehouse or similar accommodation stores environment
  • Experience in managing a team during a shift on key tasks and objectives
  • Previous experience in leading within a busy team in fast paced environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements
  • Understanding of an environment where a balance of speed and quality is important
  • Confidence to direct and respond in any situation whilst delivering consistent brand standards
  • Ability to lead, motivate and engage a team
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Valid UK driving license (desirable)
