As an Accommodation Night Worker, you’ll be a key part of our dynamic team, providing essential overnight support to young residents at Queen Ann House. Your role will focus on ensuring the safety and wellbeing of everyone in the building, while fostering an atmosphere of warmth, security, and respect.
Job Responsibility:

Overseeing the night-time operations of the accommodation
Maintaining a visible presence on the premises
Responding to any incidents as needed

Helping create an environment where young people feel at home, empowered, and supported to reach their full potential
Requirements:
Experience of working with young people with complex needs, although not necessarily in a housing context
Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport and engage with a diverse range of individuals
Good organisational abilities, capable of managing a range of tasks while remaining calm under pressure
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate as part of a team
A positive, confident approach to managing challenging behaviour
A solid understanding of current mental health issues and the ability to support young people in a sensitive, empathetic manner
