Job Description

YMCA Trinity Group is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Accommodation Caseworker to join our team. This new, exciting role is part of a new era of work with young people. You will play a key role in supporting young people to develop independence, providing high-quality, person-centred support within a safe and nurturing environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage a caseload of residents, ensuring accurate records, support plans, and professional administration
  • Complete risk assessments and identify safeguarding concerns, taking appropriate action where required
  • Provide tailored, person-centred support to help residents develop independence and access relevant services
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to meet residents’ needs
  • Maintain compliance with organisational standards, including Ofsted requirements, and contribute to case reflections, audits, and meetings

Requirements

  • Has experience working with young people or in a supported housing environment
  • Has strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment, and support planning
  • Understands housing, benefits, and support services (e.g. DWP)
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Is committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion
  • Can work flexibly as part of a 7-day rota, including evenings and weekends
  • Committed to achieving at least a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject
