Job Responsibility

Providing case management support for women and their children residing in crisis and short-term accommodation and through outreach across surrounding communities
Provide individualised children-centred case work services as required
Complete comprehensive risk and safety assessments and identify referral and support needs
Offer culturally sensitive support and information to clients, respecting their cultural needs and background
Help clients create safety and support plans, ensuring their safety and wellbeing are prioritised
Support and empower clients to achieve goals identified in their safety and support plans
Work closely with clients and their families to navigate legal, financial, welfare, housing and health systems, acting as an advocate for clients while addressing the complex impacts of DFV
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes, client files and input data into NAAFLS’ electronic systems in a timely and organised manner
Provide feedback on the continuous improvement and innovation of internal processes and procedures to ensure consistent, effective service delivery to clients
Support a safe working environment by adhering to and promoting NAAFLS’ Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) policies and procedures
