Job Description:

Hands-on role helping keep accommodation clean, safe and welcoming at Boolardy Accommodation Facility. Work as part of a small, supportive team on a week-on/week-off roster supporting staff working on scientific and infrastructure projects.

Job Responsibility:

Cleaning donga-style accommodation rooms
Using cleaning equipment such as carpet shampooers, vacuums, pressure washers
Washing and drying bed sheets, towels and other linen
Helping the chef with basic food preparation, serving, and cleaning up
Unpacking deliveries and helping restock supplies
Following daily instructions and asking for help when unsure

Requirements:

Minimum Year 10 education or equivalent training
Relevant work experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or kitchen support in hospitality, accommodation, or similar settings
Ability to work as part of a team
Reliability and readiness to work in a remote location
Ability to follow safe work procedures and use cleaning equipment with care
Good communication skills
