Job Description

Robert Half is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accessibility Designer to support one of our clients in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a designer who is passionate about creating inclusive digital experiences and ensuring that websites, applications, and digital products are accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. The Accessibility Designer will work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure that digital products meet accessibility standards and deliver an inclusive user experience. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accessibility best practices, design systems, and usability principles, and can translate accessibility requirements into practical design solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in building accessible and user-centered digital experiences that comply with industry standards and regulations.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and evaluate digital products with accessibility and inclusive design principles in mind
  • Ensure websites, mobile applications, and digital interfaces meet accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1/2.2 and Section 508
  • Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and developers to incorporate accessibility into design workflows and product development

Requirements
