Job Description

Job Responsibility

  • Monitor and control the access of employees and visitors in and out of restricted areas by ensuring people have the proper identification
  • Ensure that prohibited and restricted items do not find their way into or out of the building
  • Give employees and visitors directions and provide excellent customer service

Requirements

  • Available to work from 1pm - 9:15pm Monday - Friday
  • Ability to obtain/maintain an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and polygraph
  • Must maintain a valid state driver’s license in good standing
  • High School diploma or GED
  • U.S. citizen
  • Live within a 75-mile radius of Annapolis Junction, MD
  • Read, speak, and understand English language fluently
  • Aware that work location will be in a restricted mobile communication zone
  • 20/20 vision (glasses and contacts count) and close vision correctable to Jaeger No. 4 type test for both eyes
  • Free of color blindness
  • Normal fields of vision and good depth perception as defined by the Snellen chart
  • Hearing correctable to normal level with hearing aids
  • Ability to stand continuously for 4 hours at a time
