As a Commercial Rotational Analyst, you will embark on a career-defining path through two six-month rotations, building expertise in key areas that directly impact our global Fortune 500 business. Ultimately your performance will drive you to your final destination or in this case placement post successful completion of the program. Teams like: Revenue Management: Responsible for driving pricing strategies that maximize organization profitability; Sales: Responsible for the generation and development of new business accounts; Marketing: Responsible for our websites, promotions, and branding strategy; Customer Experience/Insights: Responsible for overseeing the Voice of the Customer (VOTC) and driving actional insights based on customer feedback data. During your rotations, you’ll dive deeper into two of the above commercial functions. Each rotation will help you build both breadth and depth of expertise, preparing you to make a meaningful impact in your future role. At the end of the program, you’ll best placed in one of the functions to take the next step in your career at Avis Budget Group. Job Responsibility:

  • Conducting analysis of market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to uncover growth opportunities
  • Building and maintaining financial models to support pricing, promotions, and sales decisions
  • Reporting insights and analysis to senior leadership to guide key business decisions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Product, to tackle performance challenges
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Providing ad-hoc analysis to support evolving business needs

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics or related field (Winter 2025 and Spring 2026 graduation)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Superior problem solving and analytical skills – must be resourceful with creative solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in-office at World Headquarters in Parsippany, NJ

Nice to have:

  • Previous internship experience in sales, marketing, data analytics or a related field
  • Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other analytics tools
