Academic Tutor

• Be a Tutor and help your fellow college students succeed in the classes they are struggling with
• Conduct tutoring sessions in your area of expertise with high school to college level students
• Prepare and review educational content before sessions
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs and learning styles of students
• Provide feedback and strategies that support student learning and confidence
• Coordinate session times with students, accommodating both in-person and virtual formats

• Current enrollment in a college or university
• Strong understanding of academic subjects at high school and college levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively

Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus but not required
