Job Description:

Impactful, Tailored Learning. Deliver high-quality, 1:1 or small-group sessions in Maths, English, and Science to students from Year 1 through to Post-16, focusing on both academic success and development of vital social skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver engaging sessions in core subjects (Maths, English, and/or Science) in line with the current UK National Curriculum
  • Develop and implement bespoke lesson plans that cater to the unique learning styles and needs of each student
  • Adapt approach for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring learning is accessible and inclusive
  • Foster a positive environment that builds student's self-esteem and social development
  • Maintain consistent contact with families to report on progress and celebrate 'small wins'

Requirements:

  • Proven experience delivering effective tuition in core academic subjects
  • Strong, up-to-date understanding of the UK National Curriculum
  • Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs (SEN)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young learners
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one immediately)
