Job Description:

Are you passionate about shaping young minds and making a difference in student’s lives? This vibrant Secondary school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Academic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. Located in Greenwich our school is known for its supportive community, innovative teaching practices, and commitment to academic excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth
Use a variety of strategies and resources to inspire curiosity and facilitate active learning
Assess student progress, provide feedback, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure student success
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative learning community

Requirements:

1st Class / 2:1 Degree from reputable university
Strong academics across the board
Experience working with Secondary-aged students
Strong knowledge of the Secondary curriculum and effective teaching practices
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
