Job Description:

Academic Support Officer role at a leading secondary school in Camden, London. The position focuses on bridging the learning gap and inspiring the next generation, supporting students' personal, social and academic development while promoting their well-being.

Job Responsibility:

Second point of contact after Form Tutors for students and parents
Support Academy Behaviour Management Policy
Prioritize issues arising from contacts to minimize disruption to pupil learning
Support personal social and academic development of students
Promote student well-being within each Key Stage
Maintain links with home, internal and external support services
Support teachers covering lessons where necessary

Requirements:

Degree or professional qualification
Good written & oral skills
Knowledge of career paths and/or higher education & willingness to learn more
Must be able to motivate & inspire the younger generation

Nice to have:

Previous experience within the role
Ideal for Aspiring Counsellors, Therapists, Psychologists or Mental Health professionals
