The Academic Resources Coordinator supports student engagement, retention, and academic success by delivering targeted outreach, facilitating cohort‑based and individual programming, and providing direct student support through group and one‑on‑one meetings. The coordinator represents the unit at key campus events—including Orientation, Open Houses, and registration and transfer programs—and provides essential administrative and logistical support for Academic Advising and Academic Success operations.

Requirements:
Master's degree required, preferably in Counseling, Public Administration, or Higher Education
Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs and projects that support student retention and academic success
Strong interpersonal skills, including public speaking, and effective written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in a complex working environment
Working knowledge of counseling principles and student development theory
General working knowledge of academic terminology, degree requirements, and institutional policies
Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing demands, and apply effective problem-solving techniques
Some experience in counseling, advising, or mentoring students in academic difficulty
Some training in the use of student information systems and social media/marketing/communications
Nice to have:
Training in academic advising practices or student success initiatives
experience working at an institution of higher education
