Requirements

Experience of working with students with disabilities mainly visual impairment and specific learning difficulties
Quick and accurate typing skills
Ideally possess a good degree
Must be currently self-employed, or in the process of registering as a self-employed professional
Must be able to receive emails and phone calls when on location

Job Responsibility

Produce an accurate and legible record of the content of lectures, seminars, discussions, off-campus events etc. in the student’s preferred style and format
Notes should contain pertinent information from the session (and any questions and discussion if required), may include diagrams and may be referenced to any hand-outs
Hand over notes in the agreed format within a specified time frame
